THE JOURNAL

BLOOM

BY KATE JORDAN

"Somehow, we feel coiled and tossed amidst life’s puzzle. This has a way of happening to us all at some time or another. However, what if we looked at this as a parallel to not being buried, but being planted. Could it be that the roots we are developing is all apart of the distinct design of the blooming process. All the while, the cold, harsh temperatures of life are killing things that lie beneath the surface of our hearts. Things that could potentially cause harm to the beautiful plant that will bloom later. I can’t help but believe that these natural phenomenons in life are subtle reminders to us. They will speak to us if we listen."
